Stakes-placed and Grade 1 finalist One Corona sired his first stakes winner Saturday when his daughter, My Bananarama, won the $22,985 Dixie Downs Futurity at St. George, Utah.

My Bananarama, a homebred for Byron Goody, won the 300 yard race in :15.647 seconds to pickup the winner's share of $10,343. Bret Vickery trains the filly out of the Streakin La Jolla mare Cruel Summer.

From a limited number of starters, One Corona has sired six winners, one stakes winner and one stakes-placed.

Owned by Double Bar S Ranch LLC, One Corona won or placed in three of four starts at 2, earning $85,381. He was second in the Leo Handicap and fourth in the $1,145,000 Ed Burke Million Futurity (G1).

A son of leading sire Strawfly Special, One Corona is out of the champion daughter of First Down Dash, Corona Cash SI-101 ($1,542,880). She is the dam of 21 ROM including Grade 3 winner and stakes sire Hez Fast As Cash SI-106 ($79,39), stakes-placed Pot Ocash ($47,284), Grade 1-placed Feature My Corona SI-92 ($114,216), Restricted Grade 3 -placed Corona Three SI-101 ($35,938), etc.
