Muller Racing, LLC's multiple Grade 1-placed Shining First Dash will begin his stallion career at Delta Equine Center, near Vinton, Louisiana, in 2013. His fee has been set at $2,500.

The son of all-time leading sire First Down Dash will make his next start in the Z Wayne Griffin Director's trials for the $750,000 Champion of Champions (G1), a race he competed in last year.

Shining First Dash has won or placed in 11 races, earning $420,890. He was second in the Golden State Million Futurity (G1), Governor's Cup Futurity (RG1), and twice in the Los Alamitos Championship Challenge (G3). He was third in the Spencer Childers California Breeders' Championship (RG1) and a finalist in the Champion of Champions (G1), Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity (G1), Ed Burke Million Futurity (G1), Bank of America Challenge Championship (G1), Go Man Go Handicap (G1), etc.

Out of the Keep On Turning mare Keep On Shining, Shining First Dash is a half-brother to RG3 stakes winner and AQHA Racing leading sire Shazoom ($178,606) and the dam of G3 placed Nancys Ocean ($88,950) and stakes-placed Hes A Strawfly ($28,168). The second dam by the Thoroughbred Moonsplash has produced stakes winner Bonshinner ($122,438), etc.

Among the leading sires each year, Shazoom has sired earners of $19.3 million, 548 winners, 138 stakes horses with average earnings of more than $24,300.
