Tres Seis Returns to U.S.

The leading stallion is back in Texas after standing in Brazil for the Southern Hemisphere season.

Tres Seis hit the board in all 12 of his career starts.

Leading sire Tres Seis returned to Texas on Saturday to begin the 2014 breeding season. The champion son of Sixarun had been in Brazil for the Southern Hemisphere breeding season.

Tres Seis sire arrived at JEH Equine Reproduction, near Whitesboro, Texas, from Miami, where he has been in quarantine.

In nine crops to race, Tres Seis has sired 366 winners, 100 stakes hoses (18%) and the earners of $16.9 million with average earnings per starter of nearly $30,000.

He is the only stallion to sire winners of three American Quarter Horse races with purses of more than $2 million each and is the sire of the sport’s all-time leading money earner Ochoa SI109 (11 wins, $2,781,365), Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity (G1) winner Tres Passes SI 101 (8 wins, $1,504,928), Rainbow Futurity (G1) winner Wild Six SI 103 (7 wins, $601,632), Refrigerator Handicap (G1) winner Diamond Tres Seis SI 106 (14 wins, $300,698), etc.
