Two fresh faces emerged in this week’s AQHA Racing-Horseplayernow.com National Top-10 rankings, one in the juvenile poll and one for the older horses. But life at the top remained firm for national leaders One Dashing Eagle and Cold Cash 123, once again unanimous No. 1 choices in their respective divisions.

The newcomer to the 2-year-old poll is One Handsome Man at No. 8 this week. He registered a popular victory at 8-5 odds in Saturday’s Dash For Cash Futurity (G1) at Lone Star Park, but did so via the disqualification of Prince Valleyant. The remainder of the juvenile rankings remained intact as Aha Moment was dropped from the Top 10.

Among the older horses, the 3-year-old filly Flame N Flash debuted at No. 7 this week following her win against elders in the Mildred Vessels Memorial Handicap (G1) on Sunday at Los Alamitos. The win qualifies the Walk Thru Fire filly for the Champion of Champions (G1) at season’s end. Creston Goer fell from the rankings this week to make room for Flame N Flash.
