Oh No U Didnt Wins Rocky Mountain Futurity

Fastest qualifier and favorite comes through to win at Arapahoe Park.

After breaking his maiden in the trials, Carry Allred’s Oh No U Didnt picked up his first stakes victory in Sunday’s $82,450 Rocky Mountain Futurity at Arapahoe Park near Denver. The gelded son of Heza Fast Dash, ridden by Travis Wales for trainer Tomey Swan, scored by a neck as the 5-2 favorite. The Texas-bred covered 350 yards in :17.848.

Bred by Bobby Cox out of the Sir Cashanova mare Dashin Dee Dee, Oh No U Didnt made his first three starts at Remington Park, where he finished second twice. He then shipped to Arapahoe and took his Rocky Mountain trial by a neck and posted the fastest qualifying time of :17.894. This latest victory boosted his bankroll to $42,446.

Hardhitting Sawyer, a Colorado-bred colt by Hard Hitting trained by John Hammes and owned by Lisa Beauprez and Thomas and Thomas Jr. Bradbury, finished a game second. John McBride’s Luck N Fury, a Colorado-bred filly by Furyofthewind, took third at odds of 24-1.
