A pair of Wave Carver 3-year-olds posted the top two qualifying times on Saturday afternoon from three trials contested at Arapahoe Park for the Adequan Arapahoe Derby Challenge.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will return on June 9 to vie for a portion of the $27,500-added purse and an invite to the $150,000 Adequan Derby Challenge Championship (G1) at Prairie Meadows on October 27.

Alejandro Luna was aboard Wave Good Bye Baby to get the second-fastest time of :20.274. Also by Wave Carver, the filly is a homebred for Hugo Barron Sierra. Jose Manuel Barron conditions the daughter of Baby La Jolla, by Streakin La Jolla.
