AQHA's online records are a great resource, whether you're an amateur or a professional; whether you're buying, selling or breeding your American Quarter Horse. This service is available to AQHA members only, so make sure that you fit the bill -- become an AQHA member today.
With AQHA's online records, you have the ability to conduct research in a variety of ways. One popular record is the four-generation pedigree. For a nominal fee, this allows a member to access four generations of a selected horse's pedigree. Sire, dam and color information is included.
You've finally made up your mind -- you're buying a horse. But where to start? Use AQHA's Buying and Owning Your First Horse to help set you on the right path in your horse ownership.
You can also access show records. Available information ranges from complete exhibitor records to a horse performance summary. You can also select records that have only information on a particular horse-and-rider combination.
Also available are both dam records, sire records and grandsire records. You can peruse such information as all currently performing foals by a given sire, or all foals out of a particular dam.
For these reports and more, visit AQHA Member Services, and log in. Need assistance? Contact AQHA Customer Service, or call (806) 376-4811.
We have also partnered with Equineline.com and the National Cutting Horse Association to allow AQHA members to access race records and NCHA-registered horse records. NCHA, in conjunction with the American Quarter Horse Association, offers the only reports available linking official NCHA records with official pedigree information maintained by AQHA.
You've wanted your own horse for years, but you're just not sure how to go about making your dream a reality. Let AQHA's Buying and Owning Your First Horse be your guide! You can get information ranging from what constitutes good conformation, to how to choose a horse for a child.
Keep in Mind:
- As a member benefit, every AQHA member receives $10 of FREE internet records every month.
- Members and nonmembers also have the option to order records offline.
- AQHA members can access records on more than 4 million horses; these records cost anywhere from $1 up.
- AQHA records come in PDF form, which makes them easy to read and save to review at your convenience.
Not a Member?
Don't worry! Members and non members can purchase records at AQHA's new Next-Generation Records site. This is a work in progress that offers easy-to-read reports in new formats. New reports are added monthly.
