The owners of 4-year-old mare Foxy Cowgirl have greatly expanded the opportunity for their stakes-winning mare, as they have made the $20,000 late enrollment into the AQHA Racing Challenge. This action enables the mare to race in any eligible Challenge race for the remainder of her racing career.

The AQHA Racing Challenge has provided more racing opportunity for American Quarter Horses for over a quarter century. It offers regional races around the world, as well as a year-end Championship night that showcases many of the best racehorses in the world. A one-time enrollment fee into the program allows a horse to compete in the program for its entire life.

Foxy Cowgirl is owned by CLC Partners of Wayne, Oklahoma, and to date has won or placed in nine of 11 career starts with earnings of $149,129.

She won the 2023 Jim Bader Futurity and 2024 Future of Iowa Stakes, and placed in the 2024 Cyclone Derby.

Bred by Christine Hovey, the mare is by Flying Cowboy 123 and out of the Valiant Hero mare Foxy Millie.

If Foxy Cowgirl wins a regional Challenge stakes, she would earn an invitation to the AQHA Racing Challenge Championships at The Downs at Albuquerque on October 18.

The AQHA Racing Challenge provides a variety of stakes opportunity for racing American Quarter Horses. For as little as $300, a horse can earn a lifetime enrollment and be eligible for stakes races around the world.
