Robert Adair Kindergarten Futurity Trials Preview

Sixty-three 2-year-olds are entered in Saturday's 300-yard Robert Adair Kindergarten Futurity (G2) trials at Los Alamitos Racecourse.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from the eight heats will meet in the May 11, $275,000 final.

Beuteeful, a gray daughter of champion KVN Corona racing for Keith Nellesen, made her debut with a 1 1/2-length win in a 220-yard, $9,000 maiden-special-weight dash for juvenile fillies on March 29. The Utah-bred filly stopped the timer in :11.903 while recording a 101 speed index and the meet's fastest time to date at the distance. Kristen Watanabe trains Beuteeful.

Beuteeful drew post 7 and will be ridden by Jose Nicasio in the third trial.
