AQHA members can refine their judging skills and get an inside look at a judge’s process at the 2025 Latin America Judging Seminar, scheduled for Dec. 5–7 in Panama City, Panama.
The seminar begins Dec. 5 with a classroom-style lecture at Le Méridien Panama. On Dec. 6, participants will take part in a hands-on judging session at Hacienda Linda Vista. A full schedule will be shared with participants after registration. The event is free for AQHA members to attend.
After registering, attendees will receive a link to reserve discounted hotel rooms. Space is limited, and both hotel reservations and event registration close Nov. 21. To allow for proper planning of meals and meeting space, all registrations must be submitted by the deadline. This event is free for AQHA members who register by Nov. 21.
The seminar will be led on both days by Chris Benedict, AQHA director of officials, who oversees education and advancement for AQHA judges worldwide, and Jeff Allen of Shawnee, Oklahoma, an AQHA Professional Judge and trainer who has judged major events including the AQHA World Championship Show and the All American Quarter Horse Congress. Allen is also affiliated with the World Conformation Horse Association, the National Reined Cow Horse Association, and the National Snaffle Bit Association.
