Fantastic Feature Jr, a son of Fantastic Corona Jr campaigned by Joe Rios, on Sunday recorded the fastest qualifying time to the October 13, $200,000-est. Hobbs America Derby (G3) at Zia Park.

Ridden by Jaime Leos for trainer Juan Carlos Gonzalez, Fantastic Feature won the first of three 440-yard trials by a neck in :21.930. The brown gelding was winning for the second time in 11 outs.

Fantastic Feature Jr was bred in Oklahoma by A.C. Taylor. He has banked $37,653 while racing exclusively in New Mexico.
