Myron McKinnon’s DLJ Imma B Famous, a 6-year-old son of Coronas Leaving You, drew post 9 for Saturday’s 440-yard, $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day Classic Stakes (RG2) at Fair Grounds Racecourse in New Orleans.

Trained by Alberto Solis, DLJ Imma B Famous has earned $67,080 from five starts this year, and his season resume includes a 2 1/4-length victory as the 3-1 favorite in the 440-yard, $40,000 Mid-City Stakes (RG3) at Fair Grounds on September 7.

Ricardo Hernandez Jr. will ride DLJ Imma B Famous.

Also on Saturday, Runaway Second Down heads a field of 12 state-bred 2-year-olds entered in the 350-yard, $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day Juvenile Stakes (RG2). Trained by Robi Meche for owners Eulalio Argote and Victor Alvarado, the gray son of Sir Runaway Dash has banked $368,526 from seven outs, and his three wins include a head victory in the 350-yard, $700,293 Lee Berwick Futurity (RG1) at Delta Downs on July 6. The gelding drew post 11 and will be ridden by Raul Ramirez Jr.
