Scholarship Selection Process

Prioritizing Leadership, Service and Integrity

By prioritizing the Three C’s of leadership development, the AQHF scholarship program invests in well-rounded individuals who will not only succeed in the classroom but also contribute to the equine world and their broader communities in a meaningful way. AQHF’s selection committee looks at each applicant’s unique story, blending academic strength, leadership potential, personal integrity, a service-driven mindset and financial need. This balanced review process ensures our scholarships reach students who reflect the very best qualities of the Quarter Horse community.

  • Maintaining long-term engagement in AQHYA, state affiliates, 4-H, FFA, NHSRA, equine service organizations, or other youth programs.
