Sharing the American Quarter Horse’s ability to provide freedom and empowerment to individuals in need.

Being horseback changes you; it makes you braver, stronger and it gives you freedom. For people with emotional, cognitive, and physical needs, being horseback is life changing. Providing freedom and empowerment, the horse is widely recognized as a powerful tool.

Since 2002, the American Quarter Horse Foundation has been on a journey to help ensure special needs individuals experience the freedom and life-changing benefits that come from being horse back. Through therapy, learning and horsemanship, Equine-Assisted Services (EAS) connect our horse with the people who need him most. The Foundation is dedicated to facilitating opportunities that connect the American Quarter Horse with these individuals in need.
