$40,000 Paid Out in AQHA Side Pot at BBR World Finals

These winners topped the open and futurity AQHA incentive races at the 2021 Better Barrel Races World Finals, besting nearly 600 entries.

Nearly 600 entries took advantage of the American Quarter Horse Association side pots at the 2021 Better Barrel Races World Finals, April 21-25 in Oklahoma City. With $6,000 added in the AQHA open incentive race, $1,000 added in the AQHA futurity incentive race and 75% paid back from entries, more than $40,000 was available to contestants.

Winning the first go of the 1D AQHA open race and running second in the second go of the same race was Randee Prindle on Red Man Jones. The 2011 bay gelding is by Brownie Jones and out of Dinkys Purple Rain by Dinky’s Red Man. Their 15.125-second (first go) and 15.312- second runs (second go) earned them a total of $1,972.

The winner of the second go of the 1D AQHA open race was Devin Young on Jettin To Docs Bar. The 2014 sorrel gelding, bred by Robert Glenn Walsh, is by Rosey Joe Doc and out of Jettin In Rosebuds by Rosebuds Boy Cody. They earned $1,102 for their 15.302-second run.

In the AQHA futurity race, the 1D winner was Sharin Hall on Hello Stella. The 2017 bay mare, owned and bred by Sharin, is by The Goodbye Lane and out of Go Go Fame by Dash Ta Fame. Their win was good for $895.
