RACE RECORD: Racing to a dominating 1 ½ length victory in his fourth career start, Avyator posted the fourth-fastest qualifying time on Day 1 and the overall eighth-fastest qualifying time. 

The colt broke his maiden in the trial. He made his first start in a June 14 maiden at Ruidoso, and then contested a Rainbow Futurity (G1) trial, qualifying to the juvenile. He ran ninth in the final. 

BREEDER: American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame member Bobby D. Cox has bred the earners of more than $30.4 million, led by Chazaq ($963,664). He is the breeder of Fernweh, who won this year’s Ruidoso Futurity (G1) and has earned $424,800. 

OWNER: Joe Flores' J F Racing Farm LLC of Mission, Texas, has since 2015 raced the earners of more than $315,000, including Grade 2 winner First Prize Denim ($158,041).  He acquired Avyator for $68,000 at the 2018 TQHA Yearling Sale. 

TRAINER: James B. Padgett II has trained the earners of more than $5.7 million, including 2017 All American Futurity winner Fly Baby Fly. 

QUALIFYING JOCKEY: Rodrigo Vallejo has ridden the earners of more than $25 million, including top runners such as Jessies First Down, Hold Air Hostage, EC Jet One, Stolis Winner, Eagle Jazz, Azoom, Mr Queens Mystery, Stimulus, First Comment, All American Winner and Royal Shake Em. 

PEDIGREE: Champion One Famous Eagle has from eight crops to race sired All American Futurity winners Fly Baby Fly, Imperial Eagle and One Dashing Eagle. He is also the sire of qualifier Gonna B Famous. The stallion, who stands at Four Sixes Ranch at Guthrie, Texas, has sired the earners of more than $28.3 million. 

Dam Quick Moon Sign was herself a multiple Grade 1 winner and earner of $419,781. She has produced 41 foals, of which 35 are starters earning $879,835, led by Parhelion (by Feature Mr Jess, $150,499).
