RACE RECORD: Undefeated in two career starts, Gonna B Famous won the fourth trial on day 2 to earn the final qualifying spot of the day and the overall ninth-fastest qualifying time for the race. His first start came in a non-qualifying win in a Ruidoso Futurity trial. 

BREEDER: McColee Land & Livestock has from 65 starters bred the earners of more than $3 million, including the likes of champion KVN Corona ($868,077) and Rainbow Futurity (G1) winner Uncle D ($598,965). 

OWNER: A $68,000 purchase at the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, Coke L. Gage Jr.’s Lone Star Land & Cattle of Decatur, Texas, began racing this year and has two horses to race, topped by Gonna B Famous. 

TRAINER: Gerald Reed saddled his first horse in 2014 and has seen them earn more than $1.2 million. He also trains All American Derby qualifier America Rules. 

QUALIFYING JOCKEY: James A. Flores has ridden 3,188 races and seen his mounts earn more than $10.5 million since 2011. Among his top runners is Political Attraction, La Vencedora, Coronas First Diva, Gold Digging Ashley, Dicecapades and EC Revenge. 

PEDIGREE: Champion One Famous Eagle has from eight crops to race sired All American Futurity winners Fly Baby Fly, Imperial Eagle and One Dashing Eagle. He is also the sire of qualifier Avyator. The stallion, who stands at Four Sixes Ranch at Guthrie, Texas, has sired the earners of more than $28.3 million. 

Louisana Corona was herself an All American Derby (G1) finalist in her racing career, earning $186,206. She has produced 10 starters and six winners. Her foals have earned $156,651, and are led by Corona By Corona ($46,753).
