Cers Final Try, a son of One Dashing Eagle campaigned by Christina D. Robinson, is the fastest qualifier to the October 13, $300,000-est. Hobbs America Futurity (G2) at Zia Park.

Racing in the last of five 400-yard trials on Saturday, Cers Final Try defeated second-fastest qualifier Apollitical B Brrioso by one length in :19.660. Tanner Thedford rode the bay gelding for trainer Tony Sedillo.

Cers Final Try was bred in Oklahoma by Charles E. Robinson. He is out of Bp Shes All Corona, an 8-year-old daughter of the Holland Ease stallion Corona Cartel. His second dam, the winning This Snow Is Royal mare Shes Takes All, was a finalist in the 2003 Ruidoso (G1) and West Texas (G1) futurities.

Cers Final Try has won three of eight starts and has earned $52,770. His resume includes a second-place finish in the September 2, 440-yard All American Juvenile Stakes at Ruidoso Downs.
