RACE RECORD: The lightly-raced Passionate Paris began her career on June 15, seeing her win a Ruidoso maiden race. She then contested the Rainbow Futurity trials before the All American trials.

On Day 2 in the All American trials, she was second to Apollitical J Wild in the first trial, which resulted in the second-fastest time for the second qualifying day and the overall third-fastest time. 

BREEDER: The late John Andreini, a past Gordon Crone Special Achivement Award winner, bred the earners of more than $6.4 million, including the likes of All American Futurity-sire Volcom ($430,433). 

OWNER: Saint George, Utah-based Two Feathers Series LLC bought Passionate Paris for $57,000 at the Los Alamitos Equine Sale. The partnership has 25 wins from 123 starts and earnings of $494,651, with top runners such as Stevie B First Cash ($238,312) and Scoopie Jess ($130,220).

TRAINER: Bret Vickery has saddled the earners of more than $8.8 million, including champion and 2002 All American Futurity winner AB What A Runner. Other top horses include the likes of LDS Dash For Dylan, Policy Tacs, Gold Medal Jess and Sheza Bad Habit. He entered two horses in the All American trials and qualified both of them – he also trains Elm Creek Khrome.

QUALIFYING JOCKEY: Jose Amador Alvarez knows how to ride an All American Futurity winner – he guided Fly Baby Fly to victory two years ago. His mounts have earned more than $11.3 million in 4,929 starts. They also include Grade 1 winners Nymeria, Major Bites, Jess Walking Thru, Eye Caughtcha Peekin, Sassys Tuffy, Baja Jazz and champion Duponte.

PEDIGREE: Walk Thru Fire is a 22-year-old son of First Down Dash, who has sired earners of more than $37.5 million. Among them is world champion Heza Dasha Fire ($2,240,112). 

Paris Prize is a stakes-placed runner who earned $32,617 in her career. The PYC Paint Your Wagon daughter has two starters. Her dam is First Prize Paris, a stakes-placed daughter of First Prize Dash, and thus from the immediate female family of fellow qualifier My Fast Prize.
