AQHA Directories Overview

AQHA employees are committed to making your lifestyle with your American Quarter Horse the best it can be.

Though AQHA operates primarily upon the decisions of its members through the board of directors, the five-person executive committee is responsible for implementing these important decisions and governing AQHA between the annual meetings of the membership and the board.

Directors are elected officials who decide on proposed rule changes and represent the constituents in their region.

By becoming a member of your AQHA Affiliate, you will have access to dozens of the best equine and educational programs in the horse industry. From educational seminars to year-end awards, show and racing programs to leadership development conferences, your AQHA Affiliate has a program for the entire family.

Our goal at AQHA is to make your life easier so you have more time to spend with your American Quarter Horse. An AQHA membership does just that by giving you direct access to members-only discounts, programs and events. Our generous team of partners and sponsors makes that happen by offering special services and discounts on products you use and trust, and by supporting AQHA programs and events specifically designed for you and your American Quarter Horse.

The following associations have fair rules and judging procedures that are widely recognized and accepted throughout the world and, where applicable, are substantially similar to AQHA's rules and regulations. Many of these associations have the ability to provide AQHA with points and/or money earnings on American Quarter Horses competing in their events.
