The 2026 Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale wrapped up Saturday, January 17, with five of the sale’s top 10 high sellers coming from the third session.
The sale's highest seller was Dezigner Jeanz, who brought $360,000 from Rancho La Cobra. The 5-year-old mare by Mr Jess Perry is out of the Corona Cartel mare All N The Jeans, and was consigned by Granada Farms as agent for Pete Scarmardo.
The next-highest seller was Holy Guacamolee, who topped the third session when purchased for $300,000 by Mike Grisham from Dunn Ranch, agent. Holy Guacamolee won the Texas Classic Futurity (G1) and the TQHA Sale Juvenile, earning $437,853. He was the top money-earning son of the leading second-year sire in 2025, Chilitos. Holy Guacamolee is out of So Into You, a daughter of Oak Tree Special, and is backed by one of the industry’s most proven black type-producing female families. His dam is a full sister to Grade 1 winner Send Me A Candy Tree ($410,384). His second dam is blue hen mare Send Me The Candy ($135,976), the dam of eight black type horses and the grandam of champions Jess Good Candy ($2,014,703) and Chasing AJ ($907,069).
The third-highest seller was Ariatt, who was purchased by Jesus Colin from Mike Logan, agent, for $250,000. The 4-year-old gelding is by Tempting Dash and out of the Corona Cartel mare Lethal Lil.
“The 2026 Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale concluded with 85% of the horses offered sold and an average sales price of $21,106 before a large crowd in Oklahoma City this weekend,” said General Manager Spence Kidney.
Only three consignors surpassed the six-figure mark in totals. Dunn Ranch, Agent, led all consignors over the three-day sale with 104 sold for $1,945,900. Marty Powers, Agent, was second with 40 sold for $1,170,500, followed by Lazy E Ranch, LLC, Agent, with 65 sold for $1,121,700.
Among “short yearling” sires through three days (by average, two or more sold), Apollitical Jess led with seven head averaging $58,429. Mr Jess Perry followed with two sold averaging $50,750, while Hes Relentless sired three averaging $42,667.
Among covering sires through two sessions (by average, two or more sold), Flying Cowboy 123 led with two in-foal mares averaging $115,000. Dulce Sin Tacha sold 10 in-foal mares averaging $55,700, and Kiss My Hocks sold three averaging $46,333.
“Heritage Place wants to thank all our consignors and wish the buyers best of luck with their purchases,” Kidney said.
He added that the next sale will be the Spring Forward online-only sale March 6–8, with a February 18 consignment deadline.
“This is a great opportunity for horses of all ages. Consignment forms are online, or feel free to give us a call to discuss consignments for this sale,” Kidney said.
