Karmalites captures another big victory in her sophomore year.

Fresh off a massive victory in the All American Oaks (G1), Karmalites fought to her second oaks victory, this in the $247,588 Purina Feeds Texas Classic Oaks at Lone Star Park on November 15. 

Racing for Fabian Muniz Porras, Karmalites and jockey Luis Martinez kept to task and completed the 400 yards in :19.445. Js Freighttrain was second, followed by Bold N Beautiful, Red Iron, Razor Sharp,  Jessesflyincowgirl, Eyesa Wagon My Tale, Rainbow Of Diamonds and Edelyns PYC. 

The Jorge Sanchez Jr.-trained Karmalites has now won eight of 18 career starts and earned $686,089. This paycheck of $110,177 adds to her year in which she has also won the All American Oaks and was third in the West Texas Derby (G3). Last year she won the John Deere Ruidoso Juvenile Challenge (G3). 

Bred by Paris Wixon, Karmalites is by The Marfa Lights and out of the Corona Cartel mare Cartel Karma.
