Jacs Electric Spark: NRHA's Newest $3 Million Sire

Gone but not forgotten, the late stallion Jacs Electric Spark continues to have offspring that excel in the show pen. Through his offsprings’ continued success during the 2016 All American Quarter Horse Congress, Jacs Electric Spark has become the newest National Reining Horse Association $3 million sire. Collectively, his offspring won an estimated $5,720 during the 50th anniversary Congress. This achievement unofficially makes him the 13th stallion to reach this remarkable milestone.
Hailing from a million-dollar sire legacy, Jacs Electric Spark is by NRHA $4 million sire and Hall of Fame inductee Shining Spark and out of Miss Hello Hollywood by NRHA’s first $1 million sire and NRHA Hall of Fame inductee Hollywood Jac 86. Jacs Electric Spark, a 1998 stallion, was bred by Sally Brown, NRHA’s first Dale Wilkinson Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, and earned more than $85,900 in NRHA earnings throughout his show career.
His career highlights with rider and owner Troy Heikes include: 2001 NRHA Futurity Open finalist, 2002 National Reining Breeders Classic Open finalist, 2002 NRHA Derby Open finalist, 2003 NRBC Open finalist, 2003 NRHA Derby finalist, 2004 NRBC Open finalist and 2004 NRHA Derby Open finalist. Earning his NRHA $1 million sire status in 2012, Jacs Electric Spark’s offspring continue to carry on his great legacy with their prodigious success in the show pen.
