Winter might still have its chilly grasp on the horse industry, depending on where you and your horse call home, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t AQHA shows to be found this time of the year.

If you’re looking for a way to break the winter doldrums (or perhaps get pumped up for the spring show season!), go online and check out AQHA’s show calendar, available at, to find an upcoming event near you.

AQHA has designed a show program that’s enjoyable for every level of rider and their American Quarter Horse, from Rookie competitors to weekend warriors. With fun and exciting classes like ranch riding and boxing, an AQHA show is the perfect venue to test your skills with your American Quarter Horse.

But before you can pack your polo wraps, chaps and shined-up steed, you first need to find an AQHA show near you
