2014 Foundation Benefit Luncheon

American Quarter Horse Foundation benefit raises $150,000.

On Sunday, March 9, supporters of the American Quarter Horse Foundation raised $150,000 to help the Foundation. The benefit was held during the 2014 AQHA Convention in New Orleans.

The fundraiser consisted of a silent auction and a paddle auction that allowed attendees to bid their support for the Foundation at various financial levels.

The American Quarter Horse Foundation, the related philanthropic organization of AQHA, seeks to advance the American Quarter Horse and the partnership it shares with man primarily through the development of funds and programs designed to:

  • Preserve and interpret the history and modern uses of the breed
  • Support the educational advancement of our industry’s youth
  • Protect and enhance the physical well-being of all equines
  • Promote the American Quarter Horse’s capacity to provide physical and emotional benefits to individuals in need.
