WQHA Labor Day State Shows
More than 4,500 entires filled AQHA classes as the Wisconsin Quarter Horse Association State Shows as the WQHA State Show celebrated its 60th anniversary.

During the Labor Day weekend, American Quarter Horse exhibitors filled classes at the Wisconsin Quarter Horse Association State Shows in Oshkosh.
With more than 4,500 entries in a full slate of AQHA classes including Rookie and Level 1 (formerly Novice). Classes were also available for small fry and Equestrians With Disabilities.
The WQHA State Show celebrated its 60th anniversary and the State Fair Show its 36th.
The Wisconsin Quarter Horse Youth Association had a benefit show during this circuit featuring a tailgate party with a raffle including the grand prize of four box seat tickets to the Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears game, a donation from Kim Kuehne. Exhibitors also bid on specialty cakes and silent auction items. Proceeds from the youth benefit support participants in the Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show, National Youth Activity Team Tournament teams at the All American Quarter Horse Congress, as well as Bank of America Youth Excellence Seminar.
