Oregon Celebrates Year-End Winners

See who captured all-around and high-point titles with the Oregon Quarter Horse Association in 2014.

One hundred and fifty Oregon Quarter Horse Association members gathered January 31 in Silverton, Oregon, to celebrate their achievements from the previous show season. 

At the 2014 year-end awards banquet, OQHA awarded out five all-around saddles, 24 trophy awards and champion and reserve awards in every class OQHA offers. Other highlights from the evening included the induction of Ed Mayfield was inducted into the Oregon Quarter Horse Hall of Fame.

2015 OQHA Show Schedule

The Oregon Quarter Horse Association is already gearing up for its first show of 2015: the OQHA Sweetheart Classic. The show in Eugene, Oregon, offers a full slate of classes, with 232 stalls and exhibitors coming from Canada, Idaho, Nevada, Washington and Oregon. The OQHA amateur division is holding their annual consignment sale and the youth division is having a bake sale (make sure to buy a goody for your sweetheart!), plus a stall raffle sale.
