The Panhandle Golden Spread Quarter Horse Association's 2015 Boom Circuit got underway July 23 in Amarillo. The show, managed by Mane Events, is one of the final AQHA-approved events available before the qualifying period ends July 31 for the 2015 AQHA World Championship Show.

Thursday's classes were judged by Joe Hays and Doug Huls, with exhibitors competing in halter, showmanship, hunter under saddle, hunt seat equitation, western pleasure, horsemanship, western riding, barrel racing, pole bending and ranch riding.

Another highlight for the circuit is Spin to Win, presented by AQHA Corporate Partner Farnam. Up for grabs in the spin-the-wheel game are a custom-made KO Elite cow horse saddle, $500 in Farnam products, plus hundreds of other great products.
