The Tennessee Quarter Horse Association ushered in their 2015 show season March 7-8 in Harriman, Tennessee, with the Spring Celebration Circuit. 

The show got underway Saturday morning with trail classes, followed by showmanship, followed by halter, western pleasure, horsemanship, ranch riding and reining. English competitors were spotlighted Sunday with working hunter, followed by equitation over fences, hunter hack, jumping, hunter under saddle, hunt seat equitation and pleasure driving. 

The AQHA judges on hand for the event were Chris Thompson, Charlene Carter, Manita McKool-DeFoor and Tony Burris. 

The American Quarter Horse Journal congratulates the following 2015 TQHA Spring Celebration Circuit all-around high-point winners:

  • Youth 13-&-UnderInvested Pine Asset, a 2004 sorrel gelding (Good Asset-Invested Miss Pine by The Invester), and Jillian Stopperich of Venetia, Pennsylvania
  • Youth 14-18Immortalised, a 2011 bay gelding (The Immortal-Choicetta Barreta by Zippo Pine Bar), and Laska Anderson of Leitchfield, Kentucky
  • Level 1 AmateurPromisemeasurprise, a 2005 sorrel mare (TNT Bo Dolls Bro-Promise Of Coosa by Coosa Lad), and owner-exhibitor-breeder Karen Spangler of Powell, Tennessee
  • Level 1 YouthPassin The Scotch, a 2001 sorrel gelding (Scotch Bay Time-Missile By Rocket by Barpassers Missile), and Victoria Rand of Cookeville, Tennessee
  • OpenTouched N Moonlite, a 2009 bay gelding (Only In The Moonlite-One Tuffy Touch by A Touch Of Sudden), owned by Ashley Hadlock of Goodlettsville, Tennessee
  • Select AmateurOHK Twisted Spoke, a 2008 red roan gelding (One Hot Krymsun-All In Good Taste by Zippos Mr Good Bar), and Lynn Agee of Kingsport, Tennessee
  • AmateurChips Envy, a 1998 bay gelding (The Sports Machine-Zippos Brickette by Zippos Sunny), and Kelli Woodell of Harriman, Tennessee
