The Final Results

After 10 days of camaraderie and competition, top riders and teams are honored at the 2016 American Quarter Horse Youth World Cup.

Ten days of competition and camaraderie came to an end July 3 at the 2016 American Quarter Horse Youth World Cup with an awards breakfast that honored top teams and individual riders. 

Lana Kelderman of Team Australia was recognized as the high-point overall youth, as well as the high-point rider in reining and showmanship. Her teammate Krystee Muscat was honored as the top rider in hunter under saddle.

Claire Evans of Team United Kingdom, who won both ranch riding classes, was the top ranch riding exhibitor.

Top trail rider honors went to Laura Weber of Team Germany.

Austria Arnold of Team USA won top cutting rider. Her teammate Calley Huston was the top hunt seat equitation rider. Ellexxah Maxwell, also of Team USA, won top horsemanship rider.

Team USA won the team competition, with Team Australia in second and Germany in third.
