Berry College and St. Andrews University tie for the national title

Michelle McDowell of Grand Valley State University put in stellar performance in the reining to post the high score and clinch the win in the run for the AQHA High Point award. She led both the horsemanship and reining results, giving her the combined highest score and an assured win.

Michelle has shown American Quarter Horses for years, attending many top shows in her region and bringing along her own young horse.

Michelle will take home the perpetual trophy, a trophy saddle, a personal trophy and a set of custom spurs from AQHA.
