Smart Pak West Level 1 (Novice) Championships Begin

The 2014 SmartPak West AQHA Level 1 Championships starts October 1 in Las Vegas.

The SmartPak West AQHA Level 1 (Novice) Championship kicks off October 1 at South Point Equestrain & Events Center and will continue through October 5.

Exhibitors at the 2014 SmartPak West AQHA Level 1 (Novice) Championships prepared for the first day of competition in Las Vegas. Classes began at 8 a.m. at the South Point Equestrian & Events Center with Level 1 youth working hunter.

After the first day of classes are complete, a welcome reception, sponsored by Michael Gaughan’s South Point Hotel & Casino and the South Point Equestrian Center, is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Cinch Bar at the South Point Equestrian Center Main Arena.

The SmartPak West Level 1 Championships offers a variety of events and activities for competitors, friends, family and spectators to take part in throughout the show, including free Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horsemen.

The SmartPak West and Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships are the pinnacle events for Level 1 competitors around the world who must qualify for the event either nationally or through their state or provincial AQHA affiliates in English, western and halter events.
