Oil Can Classic Set for April 10-12 in Tulsa
Ropers, plus competitors in halter, ranch riding and cow horse classes will delight in the special awards and events lined up.

From the Oil Can Classic
The Oil Can Classic is back in Tulsa, Oklahoma, April 10-12 at the Expo Square!
The weekend starts Friday with an AQHA special event roping and cow horse show, including boxing.
Saturday’s AQHA show includes halter, ranch riding and reining with three judges, and roping and cow horse/boxing classes with two judges.
Sunday wraps up with an AQHA special event roping with two judges.
We are pleased to announce that American Quarter Horse stallion Smart Boons has joined us sponsoring the Smart Boons Fast 40. The 40 fastest times from the junior and senior heading and heeling classes will get a callback to the Smart Boons Fast 40 Short Round. An entry fee of $50 for the short round gets you a chance at the $4,500 purse. Amateurs get the chance for a callback from the amateur heading and heeling to the Amateur Elite 10 Short Round, with a $1200 purse. The Amateur Elite 10 Short Round carries a bonus option of each first place on judges cards also receives an invite to the short round. Rules and details will be posted in the show office.
The very popular Ride For A Roll is back, where exhibitors will again be rolling the dice for a chance to win a saddle! amateur roping class placings will roll the dice to win a Jody Ramer custom saddle. Cow horse and boxing class placings will roll the dice for a chance to win the cow horse saddle sponsored by Smart Boons.
High-point buckles, sponsored by 5 Star Quarter Horses, will be presented to the high-point youth breakaway, high-point youth tie-down, high-point youth heading and and high-point youth heeling (an exhibitor may only win one buckle).
