New Classes, Divisions and Sponsor Added to Level 1 Championships

AQHA adds new classes and divisions to the 2015 Level 1 Championships and signs on corporate partner B&W Trailer Hitches to sponsor the Rookie classes.

Additionally for 2015, classes will be added based on the exhibitor’s age – youth 13-&-under, youth 14-18, amateur and Select amateur.

The American Quarter Horse Association is proud to announce that B&W Trailer Hitches is the new sponsor of the Rookie classes at the 2015 AQHA Level 1 Championships. This year’s championships will also feature added Rookie classes and more age divisions for Level 1 competitors.

“AQHA members are passionate about their horses, and B&W is dedicated to making hitch products that help ensure those horses are kept safe while being trailered,” said B&W Marketing Manager Beth Barlow. “We are excited to help recognize the accomplishments of Rookie exhibitors at the Level 1 Championships.”

One lucky amateur and one youth from each show will be drawn from the pool of all rookie exhibitors to win a B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch.

Several Rookie classes were first added to the Level 1 Championships in 2014. Rookie classes are for exhibitor-and-horse teams that have earned fewer than 10 lifetime points in any division. Additional Rookie classes were added to this year’s list of classes due to the positive feedback and growth from the Rookie classes added in 2014.
