2016 American Quarter Horse Youth World Cup Highlights
Meet the teams from around the world that brought home the gold in each event at the 2016 Youth World Cup in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia.

Exhibitors from 13 international teams competed for gold medals in cutting, reining, horsemanship, ranch riding, trail, hunt seat equitation, hunter under saddle and showmanship during the American Quarter Horse Youth World Cup June 23 - July 3 in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia. This year’s event awarded medals in 8 classes and hosted 110 exhibitors and participants.
The Youth World Cup is an educational, leadership and competition event for AQHYA members from around the world. AQHYA members competed on horses generously donated by members of the Australian Quarter Horse Association. The Youth World Cup is an international event that is held every two years and is hosted by a different country each time.
Team USA took home the overall team competition at the end of the 10-day event. Members of team USA also won individual medals in cutting, hunt seat equitation, and horsemanship.
The 2018 Youth World Cup location is Bryan-College Station, Texas. More information will be released at a later date.
