AQHA Region 2 exhibitors are preparing for the 2018 AQHA Region Two Championships, which begins September 20 at the Central States Fairgrounds in Rapid City, South Dakota. The AQHA Regional Championships provide American Quarter Horse enthusiasts a chance to test their horse-showing skills in a welcoming environment.
This show features four days packed with a variety of classes, starting with junior reining at 7:30 a.m. on September 20 at Central States Fairgrounds. AQHA judges Rick Christy, Dave Fairchild, Lindsey Martin, Jan Hoskin-Hay and Luke Jones will judge the event. A full show itinerary and online entry forms can be accessed via the Region 2 website.
“These shows are a way for exhibitors to experience an AQHA championship event,” said Pete Kyle, AQHA chief show officer. “Thanks to the help of our partners, competitors will be vying for specially designed buckles and great prizes at each of the Regional Championships.”
Exhibitors from every region are invited to attend a Regional Championships, but an exhibitor can only compete at one Regional Championships per year.
