Geri was born and raised in California. At a very young age, her family moved to Santa Ynez Valley, just north of Santa Barbara. Rich with a ranching heritage, this area would solidify her passion for history and sharing it through her artwork.
She was mentored by some amazing artists, including Daryl Desmond, Art Professor Carl Seyboldt and nationally recognized artist Judith Durr. Geri’s artwork has been greatly influenced by Robert “Shoofly” Shufelt, Frank McCarthy, Paul Calle, William Matthews and Frederick Remington.
Geri currently lives in Carrollton, Texas with her husband and two Shelties. Geri is an active member of American Woman Artists, Southwest Premier Artists and Women Artists of the West. Geri Dunn is a nationally recognized artist, exhibiting in galleries, museums and invitational art festivals.
