Joshua Sorenson was born into the world of art. The son of artist Jack Sorenson, Joshua grew up in a supportive environment that encouraged him to pursue his dreams, harvesting the creativity of an artist in him at a young age.
As a boy, Joshua began sketching as soon as he was capable of holding a pencil, composing drawings of miniature bronze sculptures made by his father. As he matured, Joshua’s interest in and passion for the arts only intensified, and he took up oil painting in 1999. Joshua honed his skills as an artist for the next decade and began painting professionally in 2010, a decision he credits to the support of his loving wife. Joshua is represented by Joe Wade Fine Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Cerulean Gallery of Amarillo.
Joshua lives at Creekwood Ranch in Canyon, Texas, with his wife Alexis and daughter Roonie.
