The National Racing Experience is an all-expenses-paid trip to the Bank of America Challenge Championships that gives AQHYA members a behind the scenes look at American Quarter Horse racing.

Racing enthusiasts are challenged to learn about American Quarter Horse racing and test their knowledge in the online Racing Skillathon Contest.
The 2022 contest is free and open to anyone to take online; AQHA membership is not required and there are no age restrictions. Participants need only study the materials linked below and take the online test that will be open September 1-8.

Questions are multiple choice, and true/false. A short essay is included for those applying for the National Racing Experience as well. All skillathon contestants will receive a certificate upon completion.

Youth applying for the AQHYA National Racing Experience are required to participate in the Racing Skillathon Contest. Their results will count toward their cumulative total in the program.
