AQHA 50-Year Breeder Awards
Each fall, AQHA recognizes members who have been breeding American Quarter Horses for 50 years. This year’s honorees include breeders from eight states and Saskatchewan. Read the January and February issues of The American Quarter Horse Journal to learn more about these dedicated members who produce amazing horses.

MP Meter My Hay – aka “Stingray”

MP Meter My Hay or “Stingray” is extra special to four-time Women’s Professional Rodeo Association barrel racing world champion Sherry Cervi. The palomino mare was raised by Cervi’s family at Potter Ranch and tied for the 2011 AQHA-Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Barrel Racing Horse of the Year. Co-owner Sherry Cervi explains the talents of her mare in this clip from AQHA Horsepower, a feature on PRCA’s Cowboy Christmas Season Update, which aired on CBS Sports Network.
