Awards Recognition Concepts Merges With Classic Awards Inc.

AQHA’s trophy company, Awards Recognition Concepts, attains LLC status and merges with Classic Awards Inc.

AQHA has moved Awards Recognition Concepts to limited liability company (LLC) status.

Due to past success and potential future endeavors, the American Quarter Horse Association has moved Awards Recognition Concepts to limited liability company (LLC) status. Even though ARC will still be controlled and operated by AQHA, the expectation is to grow the subsidiary beyond producing AQHA awards. As part of the formation of the LLC, ARC recently purchased Classic Awards Inc. and merged it with ARC operations.

“ARC exceeded AQHA’s hopes for an awards company,” said AQHA Senior Director of Human Resources and Operations Jody Stoddard. “By combining it with Classic Awards, we are confident ARC will continue the tradition the company has for excellent service and expertise in an environment clients and associates will appreciate.”

Classic Awards began its operation in 2000. Its growth over the past 15 years has been predominantly internal, stemming from the referrals of their client base and those of other professionals. Owner/operators of Classic Awards, Christy and Dustin Brasier, have dedicated themselves to the growth of the company over the past several years.

Dustin has been personally involved with ARC from its beginning, serving as a consultant, where he was involved in developing award product lines, award production layout and training staff.

“Merging with Classic Awards will allow ARC to provide a wider array of services and products, as the services Classic Awards has provided in the past will now be offered by ARC,” Stoddard added. “As part of this merger, Dustin has accepted the position of director of sales and product development for ARC and Christy will serve as a consultant on new and special projects.”

The Brasiers will remain in Colorado; however, all production efforts will be moved to the ARC headquarters in Amarillo this summer.
