Road to the Horse 2016 will give fans a chance to get a sneak peek of the AQHA Remuda from the Four Sixes Ranch at the Shamrock Remuda Carnival on March 17.

Ever wonder what it’s like to stand in the dirt at Road to the Horse? Road to the Horse 2016 is giving fans a chance to do just that. Not only can fans experience the sights from a competitor’s point of view on the arena floor, they’ll be able to get a sneak peek of the AQHA Remuda from the Four Sixes Ranch at the Shamrock Remuda Carnival on March 17.

Fans will get a chance to kick off Road to the Horse 2016 with a St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the dirt. They will meet the competitors and the horses, and enjoy fun activities on the arena floor. The AQHA Remuda from the Four Sixes Ranch will enjoy some free time in a large section of the arena, where the fans can meet them face to face for the very first time. AQHA President and Four Sixes Ranch resident veterinarian Dr. Glenn Blodgett will be on hand to answer questions and introduce the colts.

All Road to the Horse 2016 activities on March 17 are free to the public and doors will open to the public at 1 p.m. Fans will enjoy shopping in our largest marketplace ever as the Mounted Shooters of America, kick off the action at 1:30 p.m. A special early meet-and-greet will start with the competitors from 5 to 6 p.m. and the arena floor will be opened for the Shamrock Remuda Carnival from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets are required for the remaining schedule from March 18 to 20. Limited tickets remain!

Road to the Horse 2016 is already an epic battle in the making. In an electrifying mix between past world champions and new blood, this is a world championship of colt starting title that will come down to the wire as veteran Horseman’s Host Richard Winters challenges two-time Road to the Horse world champion and well-known Australian horseman Clinton Anderson. Add Road to the Horse newcomer and National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity open champion Nick Dowers to the mix and the race for the world championship of colt starting buckle is wide open.
