AQHA Professional Horsemen – group of dedicated horse-industry professionals devoted to promoting the American Quarter Horse and serving AQHA members by offering training assistance and other professional services in a variety of areas. Horsemen and -women were represented in 20 countries, 6 continents, all 50 states, and 4 Canadian provinces.

International – serves and supports international members and affiliate organizations through the implementation of innovative programs and services that accommodate a diverse set of needs to enhance the value of maintaining AQHA membership globally. AQHA International accomplished the following in 2022:

Translated key resources into the five core languages for international members.

Awarded the 2022 International Best Remuda award to Fazenda Gruta Azul in Mato Grosso do Sul.

Facilitated the Quality Samples Program in Slovenia, Denmark and Uruguay.

Sponsored 20 virtual/in-person International Educational Marketplace clinics hosted in all four international membership regions: Canada, Europe, Latin America and Australasia-Africa.

Held two successful international on-site booths in Kreuth, Germany, and in Mexico City, Mexico.

Supported international members on their journey to compete at an AQHA world championship show through the AQHA World Show Adviser Program.
American Quarter Horse Youth Association – designed for American Quarter Horse enthusiasts 18 years of age and younger, established on the premise of expanding youth participation with and knowledge of the American Quarter Horse. AQHYA currently has more than 17,000 members.

AQHYA World Championship Show is the world’s largest single-breed world championship horse show for youth.

American Quarter Horse Association Publications - The American Quarter Horse Journal, established in 1948, was redesigned in 2020 into a lifestyle publication that celebrates the American Quarter Horse and the lifestyle that AQHA’s members have built around their horses. The magazine, which is also now the official member publication of AQHA, goes to all member households eight times a year as a benefit of their membership in AQHA.

Quarter Racing Journal – established in January 1988, the Quarter Racing Journal is the official racing publication of the American Quarter Horse racing industry, printed in March and December and mailed to all racing-interested members.

Exceeded fundraising goal by more than $1,120,000

More than $88,000 awarded to 31 equine-assisted activities and therapies centers to help them provide freedom and empowerment to their clients.

More than $354,000 awarded in scholarships to help offset the cost of higher education for 126 AQHYA members.
More than $305,000 was given to grants to 6 institutions researching equine welfare, infectious diseases, genetics, performance injuries and reproduction.

Inducted the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame Class of 2022 during the second annual American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Reunion Celebration. The Class of 2022 included Big Step, Corona Cartel, Easter King, Impressive, Sun Frost and Topsail Whiz, James V.A. Cater, Jerry Wells, John Andreini, Mary Hopkins, Sandy Arledge, and Walter and Nancy Hughes.
