Two $50,000-Sellers Top Day 2 of Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale
A total of 433 head sold for a gross of $4,860,800 during the two-day sale, which ended Friday.

A pair of Quarter Horses sold for $50,000 to top the second and final day of the Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale on Friday.
Cindy Dick paid $50,000 for Famous Candy Cat, a multiple graded stakes placed 3-year-old daughter of the Mr Jess Perry stallion Red Storm Cat and the Chicks Beduino mare Chicks Famous Candy. An earner of $51,727 from 14 outs, the filly was consigned by Gary T. Hess.
Chad Hart purchased graded stakes winner Grey Daze for $50,000 from the consignment of Granada Farms, agent. A 3-year-old filly by the Mr Jess Perry stallion Captain Courage, Grey Daze won last year’s $365,260 TQHA Sale Futurity (RG2) at Retama Park and has banked $174,715 from 10 races.
Your First Moon, the sport’s champion 2-year-old in 2001 and the dam of champion Moonist, was the sale topper. Out of the Vessels Stallion Farm dispersal, Your First Moon was acquired for $205,000 by Ramon Vega on Thursday.
