Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale Ends With Strong Final Session

The two-day Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale ended with a strong session on Saturday.
"The overall average is within $9 per head of what it was last year, excluding the Vessels horses," said Heritage Place general manager Spence Kidney, referring to the Vessels Stallion Farm dispersal sale held at this time last year. "We sold 88 percent of the horses offered, almost as close of a duplication of last year as you could get."
A total of 437 head sold for a $3,946,250 gross, compared to last year, when 433 head sold for a $4,860,000.
