Dealagame Colt Tops First Day of Texas QHA Yearling Sale

Deal Em Quick sells for $100,000 on Friday.

The TQHA Yearling Sale continues on Saturday, beginning at 10:30 a.m. (CDT).

Deal Em Quick, a son of the Game Patriot stallion Dealagame, sold for $100,000 to top the Friday session of this year's Texas Quarter Horse Association Yearling Sale in San Antonio.

Pete Scarmardo of Caldwell, Texas, and Mary G. Thompson of Navasota, Texas, signed the ticket for Deal Em Quick. The colt is a half brother to stakes winner Dash Quick Perry, the fastest qualifier to Saturday's $162,600 Retama Park Derby.

Deal Em Quick was consigned by Granada Farms. Thompson purchased last year's TQHA Yearling Sale topper, This Is An Eagle, for $100,000. This Is An Eagle won the Grade 2, 330-yard Sam Houston Futurity earlier this year.
