The two-day TQHA Yearling Sale concluded on Saturday.

The two-day Texas Quarter Horse Association Yearling Sale concluded on Saturday.

Conducted in San Antonio, the sale recorded a 24-percent gain in gross sales compared to 2016. The sale average of $15,948 represented a 13-percent increase over last year's average of $14,098.

The $160,000 sale-topper, Sunnysyde (Hip No. 284), was purchased by Dillon Lane on Saturday. A son of Heza Fast Dash, Sunnysyde was consigned by Bobby D. Cox and is a half brother to Heritage Place Futurity (G1) winners Duponte and Nymeria.
