Louisiana QHBA Board Votes to Add Third Day to 2017 Sale

The sale will take place August 3-5 in Kinder.

The Louisiana QHBA board has voted to add an additional day to this year's yearling sale in Kinder.

The Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders' Association board of directors has approved adding a third day to the association’s annual yearling sale, held the first weekend of August in Kinder.

"We currently have approximately 630 Yearlings consigned, and we will sell 120 head on Thursday evening, August 3rd beginning promptly at 5:00 p.m.," LQHBA executive director Tony Patterson said on Thursday.

The remaining horses will be split between Friday and Saturday sessions on August 4 and 5, beginning at 10:00 a.m. (CDT) both days.

LQHBA will conduct their hip-number" and stall draw on June 5 at the association office in Alexandria, starting at 10:30 a.m. (CDT). Breeders are invited to attend.
