The two-day Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale ended on Saturday.

The two-day Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale, held Friday and Saturday, registered across-the-board increases.

All told, 475 head sold for a total of $5,303,850, an increase of 19 percent over last year's total of $3,946,250 on 437 head sold. This year's average of $11,166 marked a 24-percent increase over the 2016 average of $9,030.

Jet Black Patriot, a multiple graded stakes winning son of Game Patriot and a leading Louisiana-based sire, sold ffor $725,000 on Friday to top the sale.
