LQHBA Sale Kicks Off Thursday
Sale to run August 2-4 in Kinder, Louisiana

he Louisiana Quarter Horse Breeders Association Yearling Sale will kicks off Thursday at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana. The sale begins on August 2 and runs through the 4.
There are 633 head cataloged for the sale, which will be held at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana.
The first session will get underway at 5 p.m. on Thursday offering Hips 1 through 150. Friday, the sale starts at 10 a.m. with Hips 151 through 410. On Saturday, the sale begins at 10 a.m. with Hips 411 through 633.
A number of special events will be conducted during this year's sale. Throughout the sale, there will be a $1 beer special.
On Thursday, a free jambalaya dinner will be offered at 6 p.m. between the air chillers and the tent. LQHBA will sponsor $2 wine and cocktail drink specials during the sale.
On Friday, immediately following Hip 250, LQHBA will live auction a breeding to leading sire Jet Black Patriot, with all proceeds benefitting the LQHBA Youth Scholarship Program.
A live webcast and catalog will be available on the association's website, lqhba.com, on Thursday, prior to the sale starting.
